HIGH VOLTAGE

Craigy E. Fresh. Craigy Fresh. Age, a mystery. Who knows. That’s the name he told me when I ran into him on the street at one in the morning. He had to go somewhere. I had to get on this bus. I took pics and we promised to do the interview later…
I know where he works. Hell, I see him from time to time on the street, but people have things to do and I’m just waiting again for that moment to talk.
He consistently wears vests and ties, but in off-the-wall colors, with trousers to the knees and socks pulled up high. Chuck kinda shoes. Always in different colors, textures, patterns. I have no idea where he gets it. Maybe he makes it. Maybe he is that diligent and just gets anything that strikes his fancy. I bet he cuts up his clothes and reconstructs other people’s stuff. Maybe he goes to art school.
Seriously though… who else in the city is doing this nonsense?? This is a person with a soul. I can only imagine what he dances like.

uh.
this dude looks positively ridiculous, and i think that is the point. there is sense of style, and there is senseless.
i know where this guy works too, and it’s always good for a chuckle when i stop through for a visit.

I think his use of color is really good in a Rainbow Bright sort of way. I mean that as a compliment. The guy’s obviously an artist and aren’t YOU your own best canvas?
Some people are quiet and subdued….and some folks live out LOUD!!!
